The music listed here uses the techniques that the students have already acquired through the Developing Strings works and helps them to develop and refine those skills even further. The pieces introduce the orchestra to new keys, syncopation, frequent string crossing, different bowings and various styles of music.

Here again the works are aiming at providing enjoyment and success in performance.
